This module focuses on the development of critical skills such as resourcefulness, adaptability and flexibility, all of which are needed for any company to have innovative results. The two terms ’initiative’ and ’enterprise’ suggest the focus of the module. ‘Initiative’ calls for employees to take responsibility to surface ideas and improvements. Whereas ‘enterprise’ denotes the work that is required to ensure that any such suggestion for improvement must be handled in an effective and efficient manner so as to impact the bottom line.
